Förlåt - jag pratar inte Svenska.

wateroftyne here - I live in Newcastle upon Tyne in England, not far from the Scottish border.

I've signed up to Prata Bas to hopefully get some opinions on TKS cabs from any English-speaking members, and I thought it would be rude not to introduce myself!

I love Fenders, and I have four:



L-R: 1971 Precision / 1971 fretless Precision / Roscoe Beck IV / 1971 Jazz.

Can you guess what my favourite colour is?

They're all strung with Lakland flatwound strings, and I use a MESA Walkabout head and (at the moment) Bergantino cabs.

I've been playing most of my life, with a lot of different bands. Usually of the acoustic / blues / roots / country variety, but not always.

I recently got the chance to play with Mark Knopfler (a big hero of mine) at a concert that was recorded for DVD. You can see clips here - MK appears towards the end:

Nice collection of Fenders you've got there, I'm a bit of a fan myself! Walkabout is my choice of amp too.

I'm sure you can get a lot of information about TKS here, every other member seems to have at least one cab built by Tommy.

I have a TKS 2128 and I am very happy with it. Leight-weight, loud.

Since you are looking for a combination of two 112's I hope you will get feedback from users of that specific combination. But in my experience and opinion, the TKS speakers offer very good value for the money.
